Chen Li Ping
Professor Chen Liping, Dean of the Department of Marketing, Doctor of Economics.
Chen Liping, male, was born in June, 1961. He is a professor in the School of Business Administration at CUEB, Dean of the Department of Marketing, doctor of Economics, member of the Jiusan Society, member of the Beijing Jiusan Society Economy Committee. In 1999, he graduated from the School of Economics of Aichi University in Japan and was conferred Master of Economics. In 2008, Chen graduated from the School of Economics of Ryutsu Keizai University in Japan and was conferred Doctor of Economics.
His courses cover the subjects of Customer Behavior, Marketing, and Retail Management. They cover three education layers for undergraduate, graduate, and MBA students.
In 2013 Chen won the honorary title of Prestigious and Moral Standard Teacher at CUEB. He was named National Top Ten Prestigious MBA/EMBA Teacher at the annual National MBA eadership meeting in 2014.
He has been the principal investigator and participant in over 7 ministerial or bureau level programs, published over 50 academic theses in high level domestic and foreign academic journals, and written 7 books, including one textbook and two books published in Japan. In addition, he has often been invited as guest speaker at high level domestic and foreign conferences. As an expert with high-level academic visibility in the domestic circulation and retail fields, he has been interviewed by domestic and foreign mass media, such as CCTV News Channel, Economic Channel, Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily, People’s Daily, China Business Daily, Beijing Daily, China Business News, Japanese Economic News, Asahi News, and the American Christian Science Monitor, among others.
