Zhu Er Juan
Professor Erjuan Zhu (ZHU, Erjuan), adviser of doctoral students.
Professor Zhu was born in 1953, in Longyou township of Zhejiang province.
She is a professor at the School of Urban Economy of Capital University of Economics and Trade,
President of Capital Economic Research Institute, and adviser of doctoral candidates in regional economics.
She graduated from Tianjin Normal University, received a BA in economics in 1983;
and graduated with a master's degree in economics from Nankai University in 1992.
She worked in the Party School of Tianjin Committee and the Economic Research Department of the Tianjin
Administration Institute from 1983 to 2007, and was appointed deputy director and director of the research department in 1993.
In 1998, she served as the director and professor of the Economic Development Institute of Strategic Studies.
During that time, she was a research fellow of economic and social development at Tianjin Research Center.
She was selected as the member of Tianjin seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award Committee,
Tianjin Philosophical and Social Science “Ninth FiveYear” and “Tenth FiveYear plan” disciplinary team, Tianjin "Eleventh FiveYear" plan major research review committee,
director of Tianjin Economic Association, executive director of the Tianjin Institute of Business Economics, Tianjin Labor and Social Security Research Association,
Tianjin Municipal People's Procuratorate Second Branch Expert committee, and Nankai District thirteenth CPPCC members. She was transferred to the Capital University of Economics and Business in 2007.
Currently she is the one of the peer reviewers of the National Social Science Foundation Project; an expert of the policy research base of Beijing economic and social development; an expert of the Beijing Education Science Planning Discipline;
evaluation expert of Beijing Natural Science Foundation; a member of the Standing Committee of Disciplines Development Professional committee of Chinese Urban Economic Association; director of China Regional Science Association;
a member of the standing committee of Chinese High-tech Industrialization Association;
and an expert committee member of the Pacific Region Marine Economy Branch of the Pacific Society of China.

Her research focuses on Regional Economic Theory and Capital Development Strategy.
