Field of Study

The Research direction of Professor Yang Yiping is information systems management, information technology evaluation, and quality control. He has published 80 papers in the field of information economy, computer and management science and engineering. Some of his theses were indexed by EI, ISTP. His selected monographs are Quality Assessment and Software Quality Engineering Knowledge System and Software Capability Maturity Model CMM Method and Its Application. He also edited and co-edited a number of teaching materials, and presided over a number of projects, such as National Social Science Project “Conception of National Software Industry Development Based on High Technology” and Beijing Natural Science Foundation Project “Research on Deepening Enterprise Software Process Improvement and Quality Assurance Method”. Currently, he is leading a Beijing Philosophical and Social Science Project Beijing “Informatization Evaluation Index System Based on Low-carbon Development”, and Beijing Academic Human Resources Development Project “Research on the Key Issues of Information Evaluation”. His research achievements have won Beijing Philosophical and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award.
