China Youth League Committee of CUEB is recognized as a mass organization joined by advanced youth. As the assistant and reserve force of China Communist Party, the CUEB YLC manages to strengthen the ideological construction and carry out the function of talent cultivation so as to promote the connotative development and improve the service. Led by the Party Committee and superior League committee, YLC acts as a bridge connecting the Party and the youth, which makes a great contribution to the growth of students and the construction and development of the university.

Based on the university motto Revere the Virtue, Benefit the People and the idea of centering on the students, YLC conducts its work in accordance with the principle of 12345, which can be explained as follows: focusing on the talent training (one center), YLC implements two requirements of All the Youth. based on the three work conceptions of Inheritance and Innovation, Seeking Truth, Scientific Development, the four functions of organizing, leading, serving and protecting legitimate rights of the youth will be realized by the construction of the working platforms of five teachings, namely ideological teaching, organizational teaching, practical teaching, cultural teaching and service teaching.

Up to now, the CUEB YLC is comprised of fourteen branches, one primary organization and two branches directly affiliated to YLC. In addition, the YLC has eight functional departments, including office, dept. of organization, dept. of propaganda, dept. of culture and sport, dept. of social practice, association management center, student activity center and dept. of volunteer, while it also assists in directing the daily work of postgraduate union and student union.
