  • Contemporary Manager
    Research on Economics and Management began publication in 1980. It is one of the first university journals created by CUEB after the Reform and Opening Up policy. Today it is positioned as a comprehensive economics academic journal that is very influential in domestic and international academic circles.

    Since beginning publication,Research on Economics and Managementhas seen impressive accomplishments. Since 1992 it has consistently been included as a CSSCI resource periodical, a National Chinese Core Journal, and is an important source periodical for the Reproduced Materials from Newspaper and Journals published by Renmin University of China. Over more than 30 years, Research on Economics and Management has been honored with multiple awards including the First Annual Excellent National Periodical Prize, First Annual Excellent National Economics Journal, 100 Best National Social Sciences Academic Journal, 100 Best University Social Sciences Journal, and Beijing Excellent Social Sciences Journal.

     Research on Economics and Managementmaintains a professional team of editors. The editor in chief Professor Qi Yudong has led multiple major and key projects for the National Science Foundation of China. Professor Qi has published many influential works including Research on Monopoly Economy in Modern China, and he has published more than 120 papers in well-known journals including Economic Research, Management World, Reform, and Chinese Industrial Economy, and more than 20 papers have been included in the Xinhua Digest, and High Level Reference and Special Topic Material circulated by the Renmin University of China Books and Information Center, and his research has been widely referenced producing a large academic response and policy influence. Other staff members with the Research on Economics and Management editorial department have earned master’s degrees or Ph.D. degrees in the fields of economics and management. At present, there are 10 members of the editorial staff, among which 7 have Ph.D. degrees.

  • Population&Economics
    Population&Economicsan academic journal published both in China and abroad by the Capital University of Economics and Business under the supervision of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Having started publication in 1980, it is one of the earliest academic journals on the topic of demographics in China, a National Chinese Core Journal,a CSSCI resource periodical, and a Core Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences in China. Recently it has been included in the Reproduced Materials from Newspapers and Journals published by Renmin University of China, the Excellent National Social Science Journals and the Distinguished Journals in the Social Sciences and Humanities in Beijing.

    The Journal mainly publishes innovative research in the areas of demographics and the crossover areas between economics and demography, reflecting the most cutting edge work being done in China in the field of demographic and economic research. The journal’s main sections include demographic and economic research, demographics and society, research on the urbanizing population and migrant population, as well as the elderly population. In addition to this the journal focuses on advances in social science research, with sections on topics related to the study of population and demographics including human resources, employment, and social security.
  • Journal of Capital University of Economics and Business
    Journal of Capital University of Economics and Businessis an academic publication focusing on economics and management essays. It began publication in 1999 under the supervision of the Beijing Key University, the Capital University of Economics and Business. It is a National Chinese Core Journal, Core Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences in China, included in the Reproduced Materials from Newspapers and Journals published by Renmin University of China, and part of the expanded version of the RCCSE Core Academic Journals in China. The journal selects papers based on academic merits and innovation, with a strong emphasis on forward looking research that is also actionable, as well as analysis that is both standardized and empirical. It welcomes submissions form authoritative and leading academic figures as well as submissions from young scholars and Ph.D. students. For important topics and excellent essays the journal places no restrictions on essay length.

    Journal of Capital University of Economics and Businessis intended to be a comprehensive journal, striving to be an academic journal that reflects the research and disciplinary achievements of China’s business professors. The journal’s key emphasis is to fully reflect the research achievements in economics, management and education, especially representative works at the national and provisional levels. As a journal that is based on theory, the journal strives to publish special sections on “theoretical review”. Journal of Capital University of Economics and Businessupholds its positioning as a “high-level, high quality” journal. It has earned the respect of the academic world with for its high academic quality and sensibilities.

    Since 2002 the journal has been ranked as a first level social sciences journal by the Beijing Municipality, since 2002 it was ranked as a Second Annual National Excellent Social Sciences Journal, and in 2006 it was ranks as a Third Annual
  • Contemporary Manager
    Contemporary Manager’spredecessors are the Journal of the Beijing Institute of Finance and Tradeand the Beijing Economic Outlook. Journal of the Beijing Institute of Finance and Trade began in 1980, and afterwards was changed its name to the Beijing Economic Outlook, in 2013 this name was changed again to Contemporary Manager. The journal is a nationally published enterprise management journal. Directed towards entrepreneurs, professional managers, management educations, practitioners and scholars, the journal is suitable for both popular and sophisticated readers, with most of its content having an academic, cutting edge, operable and readable style. Contemporary Manager currently has four sections, “Business World Frontier”, "Executive Event Horizon", "Hot Discussion", and "Manager Training".
