On May 19th, the 9th Capital Universities Skating Competition was held in University of International Business and Economics. 139 students from 20 universities in Beijing participated in the fierce competition. Han Yanbing from CUEB finished third in 500 meters competition and eighth in 300 meters competition, and CUEB ranked seventh in women’s team event.

Answering the call of the State Council to promote “Sunshine Sports” among the youth, the skating competition of university students, which is a traditional event sponsored by Federation of University Sports of Beijing, aims at popularizing skating, improving skating skills and enhancing exchanges and friendship among students from universities in Beijing.
