CUEB Approved “Outstanding Faculty Psychological Service Project” by Beijing Federation of Trade Unions 2020

Recently, the “Team-based Mental Health Counseling” psychological project of CUEB was approved by the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions’ “Outstanding Staff Psychological Service Project” in 2020. As one of the three universities declared by Beijing Education Trade Union, our school stands out among the 117 application units and becomes a pacemaker for the psychological service for the faculty.

 

The Labor Union in CUEB has been attaching great importance to the psychological care and service of the faculty for many years. In 2015, it set up the Psychological Consultation Service Center for the faculty. In 2020, it launched the “Station Agent” to strengthen the construction of psychological consultation room, enhance the humanistic care and psychological guidance for the faculty, increase the intensity of the psychological care service, and better guarantee the physical and mental health of the faculty and the harmony and stability of the campus. In particular, under the regular epidemic control, we have constructed the work pattern of leadership support, labor union organization, professional resources service and faculty participation, which is the duty and mission of Labor Union in the new era to safeguard the spiritual rights and interests of faculty.

 

In the next stage, the school Labor Union will strengthen the daily publicity and promotion of the faculty’s psychological care service, actively linking up the psychological service resources for faculty of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, integrating central and local efforts, sharing information, creating a good organizational atmosphere for the psychological care and service work of the faculty, and disseminating the knowledge of mental health in various ways, so as to help them establish a positive attitude and effectively ease the pressure. The innovation of the mode of psychological service for faculty has been developed and improved through clinical practice.
