On the morning of April 27, heads responsible for Games Service from Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games came to CUEB for inspection. They examined CUEB’s preparations for the accommodation of the Games volunteers coming from places outside Beijing and China. Vice President Sun Haozhe, accompanied by directors of relevant CUEB departments, participated in the investigation.

In his speech, Sun Haozhe pointed out that Party Committee of CUEB paid highly attention to CUEB’s preparations for the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. He solemnly stated that the Party Committee will give strong support for the promotion of relevant Olympic work. For that matter, CUEB shall mobilize the best resources and strengthen cooperation and coordination between departments, so as to work out a practicable plan. All the staffs and students of CUEB will welcome the arrival of inbound volunteers with warm, friendly and meticulous service.

Li Xiaoou, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of CUEB, gave an overall introduction to CUEB’s relevant preparations, including basic information about stations, accommodation facilities, arrangement of restaurants, home for volunteers, parking lots, service for public health and epidemic prevention, security service and marking system along with other work. She also made further exchange and explanation in response to several specific problems.

Wang Fang, Manager of Accommodation Branch of Beijing Organising Committee’s Games Service Department, introduced the policy of volunteer’s accommodation service and elaborated the operation mechanism of transportation, security, and epidemic prevention during the Olympics.

In communication session, Wang Hongsheng, Director of Accommodation Branch of Games Service Department, enquired the details of CUEB’s preparations for medical service, health testing area arrangement, dormitory cleaning service, and epidemic prevention and control supplies. Also, he expressed his gratitude to the efforts made by the Party Committee and all departments of CUEB. 

School’s heads of relevant departments responded to every related question and listened to suggestions and requirements proposed by the visiting staffs.

After the meeting, the group of heads visited health observation area, bus station, public bathroom, supermarket, College Activity Center, University Hospital, No. 6 Student Apartment, No. 2 Canteen and other key areas in the university.

This inspection was attended by related heads from the Olympics’ Accommodation Branch and Medical Service Branch of Games Service Department, Transportation Organization and Service Branch of the Transport Department and Volunteer Incentive Branch of the Volunteer Department, Publicity and Education Branch of Beijing Municipal Education Committee, Winter Olympics Office of Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Work Department of Junior College and Technical Secondary School of Beijing Committee of Chinese Communist of Youth League, as well as CUEB’s Security Department, Property Management Department, Office of Logistics Services, Youth League Committee and University Hospital.
