Professor Zhai Yehu Appointed as Expert Consultant by Legal Service Volunteer Committee of China Volunteers Association

On December 28th, Professor Zhai Yehu from CUEB, who had long been concerned about legal public welfare in China, was invited to attend the expert consultants appointing ceremony by the Legal Service Volunteer Committee of China Volunteers Association.

 

 

China Volunteer Association (CVA) is a united, national and non-profit social organization composed of volunteers, volunteer service agencies and organizations that support and disseminate volunteerism, founded by eight departments, including the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC, the Central Civilization Office, All-China Women’s Federation, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Ministry of Education of the PRC, the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, Red Cross Society of China and National Health and Family Planning Commission of China. It accepts business instructions and supervision of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC, the business unit, and the administration for community registration, as well as the Office of the Central Guidance Committee for Building Spiritual Civilization of the Communist Party of China.

 

The first batch of ten legal expert consultants appointed by the Legal Service Volunteer Committee of CVA on December 28th were as follows: namely, Professor Lao Dongyan from Tsinghua University, Professor Liu Junhai from Renmin University of China, Professor Lin Hua from China University of Political Science and Law, Professor Zhao Jun from Beijing Normal University, Professor Zhou Youjun from Beihang University, Professor Li Wei from the Central University of Finance and Economics, Professor Wang Wenhua from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Professor Zheng Ning from the Communication University of China, Professor Zhai Yehu from Capital University of Economics and Business,as well as Professor Jiang Su from Peking University, who could not be present and expressed his best wishes via an online message.

 

 

The Legal Service Volunteer Committee of CVA calls on legal agencies and lawyers to dedicate themselves to the development of legal volunteer services and the construction of the rule of law in society and in the country.
