On the afternoon of March 21, the 30th anniversary conference of the establishment of the Cares for Next Generation Working Committee of Beijing Education System was held at the Beijing International Convention Center. Wu Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Cares for Next Generation Working Committee, Zhao Fengqi, Executive Deputy Director of the Committee, Liu Wei, Secretary General of the Committee, and Ai Chunqi, member of the Committee attended the meeting. During the meeting, the teaching supervision team of our school won the Advanced Group of Beijing Education System Caring for the Next Generation, Zhao Fengqi the Advanced Worker, and Ai Chunqi the honorary title of “The Most Beautiful Five Old”.

In the activity of “Understanding China” organized by Beijing Education System Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, our school won the excellent organization award, and the essay named “Long Journey, Eternal Faith” won the second prize of excellent essays. Furthermore, “Shouldering the Responsibility of the Times, and Writing the Chapter of Youth”, “Bearing the Good Tradition, and Keeping in Mind the Mission of the Times”, “Tendering as a Mother, Being Kind as a Friend”, “Sticking to the original aspiration in fostering patriotism, Being Indifference to Fame and Fortune with a Pure Heart” won the third prize of excellent essay.

During the meeting, Zhang Xue, Director of the Beijing Education System Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, gave a report on the work of the committee themed “Passing on Knowledge to New Youngsters, Upholding Fundamental Principles and Breaking New Ground”. She reviewed the efforts in the past 30 years and summarized the “five imperatives” for preforming better in caring for the next generation, putting forward ideas and measures for the work of the Committee in the new era. Looking ahead, the Committee of CUEB will adhere to the original aspiration of fostering virtues through education, bear in mind the mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, and facilitate the high-quality development of the work of the Committee in the new era.
