On December 8^th, Doctor Luo Wei, from Washington University in St. Louis (hereinafter referred to as WU), visited CUEB. Doctor Luo, entrusted by the dean of School of Law, WU, exchanged ideas over the possibility of mutual cooperation with School of Law, CUEB.

WU ranks 14^th in comprehensive assessment of US universities, and the subject of law, 18^th, making WU an ideal choice for excellent overseas students. Luo expressed the hope to attract more outstanding CUEB students through further inter-university exchanges and cooperation. He also made a brief introduction of LLM and JD programs promoted by School of Law, WU.

CUEB School of Law hoped that more various cooperation models would be in place, for instance, short-term courses by teachers from WU, and proved models in cooperation with other universities including 4.5 program for undergraduates, “3+1+1” and “2+1” programs for postgraduates.
