Prof. Li Qi Made 2016 Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researchers List Again
Recently, the world's leading science and technology publishing company Elsevier released the 2016 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List, in which Prof. Li Qi of CUEB International School of Economics and Management was re-selected. Previously, Prof. Li Qi was included in the economics and management (Economics, Econometrics and Finance) category of 2015 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List.
As a world-famous econometrician, Professor Li Qi has made significant contributions to theoretical econometrics, with research concentrating on econometric model testing, nonparametric and semi-parametric model estimates, etc. Since 1991, Professor Li Qi has published more than 130 articles in international journals of economics and statistics, including Econometrica, American Economic Review, Review of Economics and Statistics, Annals of Statistics, Journal of American Statistical Association, Journal ofEconometrics and other top journals. In terms of the number of theoretical econometric articles published from 1989 to 1995, Professor Li Qi ranked fourth of all econometricians around the world.
Elsevier is one of the world's largest science literature publishers. In 2016, the research data of Most Cited Chinese Researchers List came from the Elsevier's Scopus database, with 1776 most influential Chinese scholars of 38 disciplines on the list, with only 16 scholars in the economic and financial category.
