From October 25 to 26, the College Board China Annual Conference 2025 (hereafter, the Conference) took place at the Hongmiao Campus of CUEB, alongside the Fall Advanced Placement (AP) Teacher Training Program. Yao Linxiu, Member of the Standing Committee of the School Party Committee and Vice President of CUEB, delivered an address at the opening ceremony.

The Conference, serving as a key platform for international education exchange, attracted admissions officers from numerous top-tier universities, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, the University of Oxford, the University of Toronto, the University of Sydney, the National University of Singapore, and the American University in Dubai. The event also brought together representatives from 285 domestic institutions alongside a university fair that included 15 additional global universities.

Over the two-day event, nearly 200 educators engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics including “The New Global Landscape of Studying Abroad,” “Challenges and Opportunities for Higher Education in the Artificial Intelligence Era,” and “The Future Development of the AP Curriculum System.” These exchanges involved various formats such as main and parallel forums, the university fair, and teacher training sessions. Education experts and university representatives from China and abroad shared insights on the latest enrollment policies, educational philosophies, and talent development experiences.

The event not only demonstrated our internationalization level and organization capabilities but also provided our faculty and students with direct access to representatives from world-class universities. The university will continue to adopt an open and pragmatic approach to advance international education cooperation to a deeper and higher level, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality talent with a global perspective.

About the College Board

The College Board, established in 1900, is a not-for-profit membership organization. They pioneered programs like the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and AP (Advanced Placement) to expand opportunities for students and help them develop skills for higher education, which matters a lot in college admissions. At its core, the College Board’s mission is to expand equitable access to college for high school students and to foster collaboration and exchange within the global higher education system.
