The First “C-lab Maker Experience Day”
On the afternoon of April 14th, CUEB’s first “C-lab” Maker Experience Day, hosted by Office of Student Affairs, was held in group counseling room of Career Center and C-lab maker laboratory.
With principles of no limited members and application for appointment, this activity involved 150 students. It can be divided into 5 parts, which are “assessment for entrepreneurial cognition”, “entrepreneurial plan practice”, “entrepreneurial resource extension”, “entrepreneurs’ traveling experience”, and “enhancement of entrepreneurial ability”. Through some ability tests, entrepreneurship process & market competition simulation and some games about cognition and innovation, these participants can know themselves better, open up their minds, boost their abilities to communicate cooperate, cognize make decision, work under pressure, and to promote interpersonal harmony. These skills, critically important in entrepreneurial process, help them have fun in setting up their business. In addition, another 4 teams in maker community, named Xiaokapai (Mini Shooting), LOGiC Media Studio, Naughty Monkey-Steam Education and Mentor Talk not only provided students with a platform to talk with entrepreneurs face to face, but also advertised their brands.
Students made full use of this chance to understand entrepreneurship, assess their entrepreneurial advantages, expand innovative & entrepreneurial minds to lay solid basis for their future career and entrepreneurial practices. Organized by Career & Development Association (CDA) of CUEB, this activity was strongly supported by School of Talents.
