On the morning of September 3th, a team of six headed by Yuan Jifu, Vice President of Beijing Administration Institute, conducted a study tour on Graduate School work across CUEB. Presided by CUEB Vice President Wang Yonggui, both sides shared ideas on the quality of postgraduates, training features, student management and degrees.

Introducing briefly on the basic information of CUEB, Wang Yonggui welcomed Yuan and his team. Beijing Administration Institute, said Wang, is a high-level think tank and a main position to train leaders and civil servants, featuring official training and theory research. He hoped that both sides could strengthen communication, complement one another so as to make greater contributions to Beijing’s economy and social development.

Zhou Mingsheng, President of Graduate School and Graduate Affairs Department, introduced the history, disciplines, training features and ideological & political education of Graduate School and generalized innovations in admitting & cultivating postgraduates, seeking supervisors and conferring degrees.

Next, Yuan presented basic information and specialties of BAI’s Graduate School and hoped that both sides would keep in touch to expand exchanges and cooperation among postgraduates in a bid to cooperate in a larger field in the future.

Later, the two sides exchanged an in-depth discussion on the management mechanism, enrollment and cultivation of postgraduates.

Many officials from Graduate School of Beijing Administration Institute joint the meeting, including Director Hong Xiaoliang, Deputy Director Lv Hong, principal staff members Shen Lixuan and He Weiping. Also attended the meeting were Ran Jing and Liu Yumei, CUEB Vice President of Graduate School, Meng Yifang, Vice Director of Graduate Affairs Department, Liu Zhiyong, Director of MPA Center of College for Urban Economics and Public Administration as well as some staff members of Graduate School.
