In this September, "The influence of ICT-driven innovation: a comparative study on national innovation efficiency between developed and emerging countries'', an academic paper written by Zhang Chao as the lead author, a teacher in the School of Foreign Studies, was published in the Behaviour & Information Technology. The paper mainly studies the impact of information and communication technology (ICT)-driven innovation on national innovation efficiency. Based on the data of institutions such as the World Economic and Cooperative Organization, the paper proposes that ICT-driven innovation is an important reason for the average score of innovation efficiency in developed countries to be higher than that of emerging countries by comparing the differences between developed and emerging countries. Then, the paper analyzes the connotation and influencing factors of ICT-driven innovation.
