On the dark night of December 16th, 2019, “remaining true to our original aspiration” float, carrying the shared memory of CUEBers, came back home, after the active application of CUEB and approval by the superior.

At 22:20, December 16th, 6 delivery trucks carrying the Float, departed from Chaoyang Sports Center, headed to CUEB through East 5th Ring Road, East 4th Ring Road and South 4th Ring Road.

At 23:30, December 16th, the lead truck arrived in CUEB. Staffs of Property Management Department, Security Office, Office of Logistics Service and the Property Company waited in line at the west gate late at night and warmly welcomed the Float.

At 02:30, December 17th, the Float was unloaded and waited to be assembled.

We still remembered that on October 1st, we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. On that day, over 400 CUEBers crowded around “remaining true to our original aspiration” float and marched through Tian’anmen Square among the 34th formation of mass pageantry. They showed the spirit of “remaining true to our original aspiration” with youth, enthusiasm and dedication. They presented a gift for the 70th anniversary of the PRC with mission, responsibility and duty.

CUEBers will never forget “remaining true to our original aspiration” float and the National Celebration and we desperately expected it to come home. Surely, it will take a few days for the repairing and reassembling work. More information will be followed.
