On December 12th, the inauguration ceremony of College of E-business and the signing ceremony with CUEB were held in Tangshan University. Feng Pei, Party Secretary of CUEB, Cao Quanmin, Deputy Mayor of Tangshan Municipal People's government, Liu Xuedong, Party Secretary of Tangshan University and other guests attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, Feng Pei and Liu Xuedong exchanged the agreement on strategic cooperation framework signed by the two universities, and College of Business Administration in CUEB signed the cooperation agreement with the College of E-business in Tangshan University.

In his speech, Cao pointed out that since Tangshan was approved in 2018 as the country's third batch of integrated pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have taken e-commerce development as a new engine for economic transformation and upgrading. Based in the southeast of Hebei, serving Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, facing Northeast Asia, Tangshan is building an international logistics hub city with global influence. Tangshan University has taken the initiative to link up the integrated pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce and set up a College of E-business, which demonstrates a high sense of historical responsibility and sets up a new platform for universities to serve the local economic development. The signing of a contract between Tangshan University and CUEB is an important measure to improve the quality of cross-border e-commerce talents training, a major event in the development of Higher Education in Tangshan, and a milestone in the further promotion of the coordinated development of education in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Regions. It will certainly have a positive and far-reaching impact on the training of more high-level, practical e-commerce talents and the construction of the integrated pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce in Tangshan.

In his speech, Feng Pei pointed out that Tangshan University and CUEB are both sister institutions in the capital circle, both serving regional economic and social development as a stage and pursuing a common cause. The establishment of a strategic cooperative relationship between the two universities is the first initiative taken by CUEB to mark the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, which is an important national strategy, and is also an important measure to raise the level of opening schools and to support the construction of integrated pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce in Tangshan. Feng also reviewed the traditional friendship between CUEB and Tangshan University, and looked forward to the future cooperation between the two universities. In his speech, Liu Xuedong pointed out that Tangshan University always adheres to the original intention of basing on Tangshan, serving and contributing to the economic and social development of Tangshan. The establishment of College of E-business is an innovative measure for the school to make new achievements and focus on the new task in the new era. The cooperation between Tangshan University and CUEB entered a new era, which is conducive to the promotion of Tangshan University's opening and connotative development, to the promotion of the construction of Education Highland in Tangshan, and to the service of high-quality development in Tangshan. The prospects for co-operation are very promising. He said that Tangshan University will take a high sense of political responsibility and historical mission and take the opportunity of setting up College of E-business to further promote high-quality and connotative development and comprehensively improve the overall level of running a school, to implement the guiding spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's, and make positive contributions to accelerating the realization of the goals of "building the country in three ways" and "leading the country in two ways" in Tangshan.
