Representatives from 11 British Universities Came to CUEB to Demonstrate Study abroad Programs

On October 14th, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange held a briefing and exhibition for UK study abroad programs, with a total of 11 British universities taking part in the event, including Queen Mary University of London, University of Exeter, Loughborough University, Heriot-Watt University, University of Kent, University of Stirling, Keele University, Robert Gordon University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Nottingham Trent University, and University of Sunderland.

More than 100 students from various colleges and grades came to listen to the presentation of the participating universities. Through the PPT presentation, the teachers from 11 British universities gave students a detailed introduction to their respective schools’ geographical location, school environment, college classification, special courses and admission requirements, etc., so that the students had a better understanding of the British higher education curriculum, disciplines and advantages of the application process. After the presentation, the students also had face-to-face communication with representatives of British universities on their respective questions. The students said that this activity not only deepen their understanding of British universities, but also helped them a lot on how to choose a foreign school suitable for them.

During the event, representatives from British universities visited the campus and the university history museum. They were deeply impressed by the students’ language level and comprehensive quality, and expressed their admiration for the fruitful results of school’s international exchanges and cooperation. They hope to carry out more in-depth cooperation with CUEB in student exchange, graduate student enrollment and cooperative education.
