The Number of CUEB Postgraduate Applicants Breaks Above 10,000 for First Time Ever
On October 31st, the online registration for the 2021 National Entrance Exam for Postgraduate Studies was completed. The number of CUEB postgraduate applicants broke above the 10,000 level for the first time ever. The number of students applying for CUEB at their first choices hits 10376 this year, an increase of 1310 (14.45%) over last year. The number of applicants in the test site CUEB was 4,479, an increase of 39.93% over last year.
In 2021, CUEB received 284 recommending exam-free postgraduates, an increase of 83 (41.29%) from last year. Among them, there are 192 postgraduates for academic degree and 92 postgraduates for professional degree.
In recent years, CUEB has attached great importance to postgraduate enrollment publicity with scientific and clarified ideas, and gradually established a “multi-channel, all-round” enrollment publicity model. CUEB conducts publicity work through online methods such as publicity and consultation meetings, live webcasts, CUEB recruitment website, WeChat posts, postgraduate consultation QQ groups and other offline methods, highlighting the school’s characteristics and advantages, expanding the scope of publicity, and innovating publicity forms, thus achieving remarkable results.
The online confirmation of the 2021 National Entrance Exam for Postgraduate Studies will be conducted from November 6th to 10th, 2020, and the preliminary examination will proceed from December 26th to 27th, 2020. The rapid increase in the number of applicants has laid the foundation for the selection of high-quality students in CUEB, but it has also brought new challenges and unprecedented pressure to the related departments.
