CUEB Holds Art Show Commemorating Centenary of Communist Party of China
The centenary journey is magnificent; the centenary aspiration becomes even firmer. On June 11, CUEB held an art show themed as “Centenary Eventful Path, Staying True to the Mission” to celebrate the 100th anniversary of CPC and to sing the great achievements made by all ethnic Chinese people under the leadership of CPC.
Firstly, the folk music ensemble, “My Motherland, China” stepped on the stage, the gentle melody vividly showed the praises for China’s beautiful scenery and the industrial spirit of Chinese people.
The program "The Folk Song to the Party " was shown by the senior choir of CUEB’s retired teachers and the Qingsong Dance Team, presenting the sincerest blessings to the Party with dancing and singing.
The dance "Rhododendron" emotionally interpreted the striving spirit of the Chinese people in suffering to win victories and happiness through revolution.
The drama "Encounter" reproduced the classic fragments from the film "My People, My Country", praising the research workers who have sacrificed personal interests for national defense and scientific development.
The dance "Yellow River" was majestic and vigorous, showing the invincible power of the Chinese nation.
The faculty choir presented two songs "Embroider the Red Flag" and “Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China” with affectionate recitations and emotional voices to express thanks to the CPC for leading Chinese people to a splendid future.
The orchestral ensemble "The Picturesque China" was poetic and dazzling, leading the audience to appreciate the great rivers and mountains of China.
"Blooming" was a Uyghur dance designed by CUEB, reflecting the positive attitude through graceful dance and crisp tambourine.
A song "Country" shown in the manner of Akabella expressed the deepest love of the young generation for the motherland with a beautiful voice.
The hip-hop "Innovation Youth" with full rhythm totally demonstrated the energy of youth and excited the audience.
The song "Pursuing" showed the life pursuit of fighters who always struggled with confusion and loneliness and never bowed to the fate.
The magic "Miracle" led the audience into a world full of magic with superb and amazing magic skills.
At the end of art show, the dance "Hundred Flowers Striving for Beauty" showed beautiful scenes and bright future of China with wonderful performance, pushing the whole performance to the climax.
Finally, all the cast made a curtain call in the singing of "We Are All Dream Chasers ". It was precisely a century of grace to have a great career in the future. Based on the new starting point of the Party's centenary history, in the future, all CUEBers will continue to strengthen ideals and beliefs, start a new journey for building a socialist modern country in an all-round manner, and continue to make more achievements in a new era!
