Party Secretary Han Xianzhou & President Fu Zhifeng Lead Teams to Inspect Work on Campus Security

On the morning of June 30, Party Secretary Han Xianzhou and President Zhifeng Fu led teams to inspect work on security of main campus (in Fengtai District) and Hongmiao Campus (in Chaoyang District) respectively.

 

 

Han led relevant delegations to inspect important venues, such as Fire Control Center in Overseas Chinese College, Fin-tech Lab, health observation area, South Gate, No.3 Canteen, the Main Power Distribution Center, construction site of No. 6 Student Apartment and No.2 Student Apartment. They learned details of campus security like campus comprehensive prevention and control, laboratories security, health care, and school gate control (personnel flow control), food safety and support, emergency response to epidemic prevention and control, power supply as well as construction progress and safety. They also put forward work requirements in accordance to the work report from each department.

 

 

 

 

 

Fu led delegations to inspect important venues in Hongmiao Campus, such as School of International Education, Main Power Distribution Center, the Library, the campus supermarket and University Hospital. Leaders of CUEB inquired the support and operation of every department in detail and focused on inspecting emergency response to epidemic prevention and control, power supply of Hongmiao Campus, building renovation, material supply and health care.

 

 

 

 

The leaders stressed that in routine epidemic control, all departments must pay more attention to campus security and promote emergency response measures, work shifts and security guarantee system. What’s more, all departments must adjust deployment flexibly according to different epidemic situations, discover potential risk in the campus timely, control the personnel flow at the school gate strictly and arrange the campus security work during the summer holiday in advance so as to ensure a safe campus.

 

The inspection shows that all departments pay close attention to campus security with all fields of work in order and proper security measures in place. Relevant departments commonly agreed to strengthen coordination and cooperation, enhance risk management, eliminate potential risks, promote the campus epidemic control and provide better services so as to create a favorable environment for all faculties and students.

 

This inspection was accompanied by relevant heads from the Office of Party and Governance Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, Security Department, Office of Logistics Services, the Library, University Hospital, Property Management Department, School of Finance, School of International Education, School of Continuing Education and MBA Education Center. These heads all reported their own work.
