Lately, Fengtai District and Chaoyang District held People’s Congresses and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conferences for their districts. Sun Haozhe, Vice President of CUEB was elected as the deputy to Fengtai District People’s Congress and 12 teachers from CUEB as deputies to People’s Congress or Members of CPPCC at the district level. CUEB is the dependent University of both Fengtai and Chaoyang district and during the election of the two districts’ People’s Congress and CPPCC, the university’s Party committee has successfully done its work by actively organizing CUEB talents, including both party members and non-party members, and helping with the preparation of recommendation and nomination of deputies to People’s Congress or Members of CPPCC at the district level.

CUEB’s new elected deputies and members indicated that they would continue to promote CUEB’s participation in the deliberation and administration of state affairs by conducting research based on the advantages presented by CUEB majors and the development of the region to take their responsibilities as deputies to People’s Congress and Members of CPPCC, and make better devotion to Beijing’s development.
