CUEB Holds Online Meeting for Employment Promotion with Enterprises Concerned

In the afternoon of June 1, CUEB held an online meeting for promoting employment with enterprises concerned. The meeting aimed to implement the CPC Central Committee and the State Council’s decision on stabilizing employment and maintaining job security, and to participate in the social campaign launched by General Office of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and Beijing Municipal Education Commission, which calls for Party Secretary and Presidents of universities and colleges to have meetings on employment with enterprises. In this regard, Sun Haozhe, Vice President of CUEB attended the meeting, and Wang Jinbao, Director of Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee presided over.

Wang Jinbao introduced the employment work for Class 2022, which enjoys a steady development in general thanks to measures for employment promotion. This year, our university explored more employment resources and provided targeted employment guidance by bolstering organizational leadership to have meetings with enterprises for employment promotion. These efforts dealt with more practical issues and greatly helped graduates in job hunting.

 

Vice President Sun Haozhe expressed his gratitude to these enterprises for supporting the employment, and introduced CUEB’s strength on professionals’ cultivation and relevant resources. As such, Sun initiated a “win-win” mode for both CUEB and the enterprises based on internship projects. He also stressed that future cooperation should focus on enhancing research capabilities, promoting training and communications for internal professionals, and building digital partnerships.

Leaders from CIIC (Beijing) Economic & Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., Beijing Fashion, Beijing Branch of China Merchants Bank, Grant Thornton, SI-TECH introduced recruitment in CUEB over the years, and approved the performance of the CUEB graduates. They expressed willingness to strengthen long-term cooperation with CUEB through plans for “Special Campaign” and “Hundred Talents”.

This online meeting has created hundreds of jobs for CUEB graduates through an active discussion on innovative and long-lasting cooperation mode, which has also strengthened and expanded the win-win cooperation between universities and enterprises. Ji Yanyan, the Deputy Director of the Office of Student Affairs, and all members of Career Guidance Centre of the Office of Student Affairs participated in the meeting.
