On the afternoon of September 22, Li Kunpeng, Member of the Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee and Vice President, met with Sean Mackney, Vice-Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University, and his delegation in the Tianlang Hall of Boyuan Building. The two sides had in-depth discussions on deepening Chinese-foreign cooperative education, promoting cooperation and joint training programs.

On behalf of CUEB, Li Kunpeng extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation. He noted that CUEB has adhered to open education policy and actively introduced high-quality international educational resources. He expressed the expectation that the two universities could realize resource sharing and complementary advantages in Sino-foreign cooperative education and joint faculty-students training, offering solid support for disciplinary development and program development of both institutions.

Sean Mackney expressed his gratitude to CUEB for its hospitality. He briefed the participants on Oxford Brookes University and its global vision for education, and voiced the university’s readiness for further cooperation with CUEB. He hoped to secure further substantive progress together with the School of Accounting and Overseas Chinese College in Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, student exchange programs and joint research initiatives.

Heads of relevant units attended the meeting, including the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Accounting and the Overseas Chinese College.
