In September 2023, the Mega-city Economic and Social Development Research Institute of CUEB won the second prize for two research achievements in the 15th Beijing Excellent Research according to the Decision on Awarding Advanced Units and Outstanding Achievements of Beijing Research Work in 2020 and 2021 issued by the Research Center of Beijing Municipal Committee (BMC) and Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The two outcomes were Professor Qiu Baoxing’s Research on the Theory and Practice of Resilient Cities and Professor Ye Tanglin’s Study on the Construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Regional Industrial Chain. Accordig to the report, only 8 research outcomes from 14 high-level think-tank construction units in the capital were awarded. Our institute accounted for 2 of those 8 outcomes, which is the most awarded unit.
