On February 27, Luan Mingyue, Party Secretary of the Beijing International Data Exchange (BJIDEx), and his team visited CUEB. Wu Weixing, Deputy Party Secretary and President of CUEB, Yin Zhichao and Chen Yanbin, members of Party Standing Committee and Vice President, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Wu Weixing extended a warm welcome, briefing them on the school running. He pointed out that to further strengthen the construction of the cross-disciplinary platform in the digital economy, and build clusters in strong disciplines to improve discipline construction, CUEB has established the Beijing Digital Economy Development Research Institute. The Institute, in line with major national strategies and capital development in the new era, focuses on the need for personnel in deep integration of the digital economy and social governance. CUEB would contribute to developing Beijing into a benchmark city in the global digital economy through the initiatives mentioned above. Yin Zhichao and Chen Yanbin conducted exchanges respectively focusing on the integration of data resource utilization and scientific research, the establishment of data usage platforms, personnel training cooperation models, and the establishment of practice bases.

Luan Mingyue introduced the basic situation, function, and business of BJIDEx. He mentioned that the BJIDEx focuses on the three major business categories of data trading, data capitalization, and data cross-border transfer, guiding the convergence and integrated utilization of data resource elements, and promoting the standardized integration, rational allocation, market-oriented transactions, and sustainable development of data resources. Ultimately, it will create a leading domestic data trading infrastructure and an internationally important cross-border data trading hub, helping Beijing become a benchmark city for the global digital economy. He hopes to continue in-depth exchanges and cooperation with CUEB in areas such as personnel cultivation, discipline construction, scientific research, and social services, as well as to pursue joint development.

Yan Wenjing, Chief Compliance Officer of BJIDEx, Sheng Jing, Head of the Strategic Development Department, Wang Haiyang, Head of the Technical Product Department, Hu Yue and Tan Yishu of the Strategic Development Department gave brief introductions and exchanges about their work respectively.
