CUEB&CSU Co-holds 2nd Economy and Business Development Forum
On December 4th, CUEB and Cleveland State University (CSU) co-organized the 2nd Economy and Business Development Forum based on the platform of the Confucius Institute co-built by CUEB and CSU.
In the session of keynote speeches, Niu Yi, from CUEB International School of Economics and Management, delivered a keynote speech based on his paper “Market Size, Competition and Firm Productivity”. Mark A Holtzblatt, associate professor of CSU Department of Accounting, also addressed on “Should U.S. and Global Regulators take a Bigger Tax Bite Out of Technology Companies?” after which he had a discussion with attendees. Chen Yuanyan, from School of Public Finance and Taxation, detailed her thesis “Inspirations from Tax Incentive Mechanism of US Higher Education”. Gao Jieying, assistant professor of CUEB School of Finance, delivered a speech on “Momentary Credibility from the Perspective of RMB’s Internalization”. Liu Hong, professor from CUEB School of Economics, analyzed the hard progress of China-US Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) talk. Yan Yunfeng, from CUEB School of Economics made a speech “China-US Economics and Climate Change on the Global Value Chain.” Through the collected data, she conducted her research on the influences of the carbon emission on China & US trade, even on the whole world.
