CUEB Holds 5th Alumni Development Forum in Zhengzhou
The 5th CUEB Alumni Development Forum was held at Yase International Hotel in Zhengzhou, Henan Province from November 16 to 17. It was hosted by CUEB Alumni Association (AA) and organized by Henan Alumni Home. Present at the forum were Wu Weixing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CUEB, President of CUEB and j AA; Yin Zhichao, Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee, Vice President of CUEB and Vice President of the Standing Council of the AA,Directors of the 4th Council of CUEBAA, heads of alumni organizations,and representatives of Henan Alumni Home. It was presided over by Chen Mengxiao, a doctoral graduate of the Class of 2014 majoring in Urban Economics and Strategic Management and Deputy SecretaryGeneral of Henan Alumni Home.
In Wu’s speech, he expressed warm congratulations on the 5th Alumni Development Forum, and extended sincere gratitude to Henan Alumni Home for hosting the event and to the alumni for their attendance. He introducedCUEB’s achievements in discipline construction, education and teaching,research and innovation, social services, qualified personnelconstruction, and campus environment enhancement. He stated that in the future, CUEB would continue to optimize its discipline distribution, strengthenqualified personnel recruitment, promote digital and intelligent transformation, and conduct organized research, integrating CUEB’s development into Beijing’s and making contributionsin the new era. He hoped that alumni would continue to contribute to CUEB and social developmentby pooling their wisdom.
Feng Bo, Director of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, head of the College Student Affairs Office, and Vice President of AA(Legal Representative), introduced the overall scale of current students and analyzedthe employment of graduates. He hopedto leverage the alumni’s significant role in education, and explore more resources in the job market. At the same time, he emphasized CUEB wouldstrengthencooperation with the alumni’s enterprises to jointly offer more job opportunities to graduates.
Xu Yanhong, Director of the Office of Cooperation Affairs, Vice Chairperson of the CUEB Alumni Association, and Secretary-General of the Educational Foundation, expressed her gratitude to Henan Alumni Home for hosting this forum. She introduced the personnel structure and functions of the Office ofCooperation Affairs. She hoped to gather more support for CUEB’s comprehensive development and encouraged alumni to bring their families and invite classmates to experience CUEB’s growth and changes.
Shao Lili, Deputy Director of the Office of Cooperation Affairs and Secretary-General of the CUEB Alumni Association, introduced the development of the CUEB Alumni Association, the Council of the Alumni Association, the scale of alumni, the construction of alumni association, and the association’s typical activities. Student Li Xindi, President of CUEB Alumni Exchange and Development Association, shared insights on theactivities and contributions of theAssociation.
During the group discussion, participants engaged in in-depth and extensive discussions on “DevelopingAlumni Organizations in the New Era and Promoting the Co-construction of Alumni Community with Alma Mater”. Representatives Chen Qiang, Wang Chunli, Luo Dong, Zhang Hongfei, and Yang Chao presented reports on their respective group discussions. The alumni provided valuable suggestions on establishing efficient resource integration platforms, stimulating alumni organizations’ internal vitality, innovating alumni activities, and raising funds for events.

At the forum, outstanding alumni, including Wang Ruijun from the Henan Alumni Home, Luo Dong from the Human Resources Industry Alumni Association, Xu Yan from the Fintech Alumni Association, Zhang Chunping from the Tax Industry Alumni Association, Zhang Yongjiang from the Hebei Alumni Home, Wang Chao from the Alumni Enterprise Development Promotion Association, Chen Qiang from the Safety, Health, and Environment Alumni Association, Yang Chao from the Sichuan Alumni Home, Feng Weiwei from the Tianjin Alumni Home, and Chen Shuo, Vice President of the Alumni Association, delivered remarkable speeches, introducingbusiness projects and sharing cutting-edge insights and innovative ideas. Alumnipresented projects spanning various fields, including human resources, fintech, tax consultancy, agricultural technology promotion, venture capital, security environment, healthcare, advertisingmedia, real estate management, and the energy industry.
With the participants bearing witness, Wang Ruijun handed over the flag of the Alumni Development Forum to Pan Aimin, President of the Tianjin Alumni Home.The 6th Forum will be hosted by Tianjin Alumni Home. Pan expressed his commitment tothe forum, inviting everyone to gather in Tianjin in 2025 for this grand event.
Yin Zhichao wrapped up the forum. He highly praised the success of the forum and the achievements of the alumni in their respective fields. He introduced the accomplishments of CUEBAlumni Association in innovating working mechanisms, strengthening the organization construction, inspiring vitality, enhancing the servicesfor alumni, and deepening school-enterprise education. He emphasized that CUEB would continue to focus on the development of alumni andintegrate resources to supportalumni and the organization. He expressed his wish for alumni to back CUEB’s growth, enhance dialogue, and pursue mutual progress.
On November 15, Wu Weixing led his team to visit an alumni enterprise, Zhengzhou Jinmaihengqi Co., Ltd., and met with Feng Wei, graduate of the Class of 2018 majoring in Business Administration and the legal representative of the company. Fan Zhen, the legal representative, Executive Directorand General Manager of Henan Jinmai Technology Development Co., Ltd., also participated in this meeting and expressed full support for the development of CUEB.
During the forum, Yin Zhichao led his team to visit another alumni enterprise, Zhengzhou Simile Industrial Co., Ltd., where he met with Wang Ruijun, a graduate of the Class of 2004 majoring in Business Administration, the legal representative and General Manager of the company. CUEB and alumni enterprise unveil the commemorative plaque for the joint education base. Looking ahead, CUEB and the partner enterprises will strengthen the synergy of industry and education, advancing science-education integration for win-wincooperation.
