CUEB Convenes Work Deployment for Undergraduate Education Evaluation
On the mormning of March 29, CUEB held the deployment meeting of undergraduate education review and evaluation in Conference Room 7 of the Bona Building. Present at the meeting were Vice President Li Xiaomu, Principal Help Guo Hai, heads of the relevant functional departments, and leaders of various teaching units. The meeting was presided over by Liu Qiang, Director of Academic Affairs Office and Education Quality Evaluation Agency.
Li Xiaomu emphasized that undergraduate education review and evaluation was essential to strengthen the central position of personnel cultivation, deepening CUEB’s education and teaching reform, and advancing high-quality development. In this way, all the functional departments and teaching units should place it as a top priority, with a stronger sense of urgency and mission in thought and action. He pointed out that following the launch of the undergraduate education review and evaluation, under the joint efforts of all departments and units, CUEB has completed a series of high-quality self-assessments and eventually yielded remarkable achievements, thus laying a solid foundation for the next stage. At present, CUEB has entered the evaluation stage. Faced with such a heavy task in a short time, each unit should firmly implement the work plan with a definite objective, to establish working mechanisms and manage work in different phases. Through coordination and cooperation, each department will work together to complete CUEB’s assessment in an orderly manner.
Liu Qiang summarized the work and achievements at this stage, including the self-evaluation report and featured report for CUEB’s review and evaluation, pre-assessment, teaching inspection, publicity, and mobilization. Moreover, he briefed the outlook, structure, and top mission of the work plan.
Fan Yanying, Vice Director of the Education Quality Evaluation Agency, gave a detailed introduction to the overall work plan and specific tasks of each department. The participants had a full discussion on the details of the work arrangement.
