The ceremony aimed to summarize the experience gained from the commemorative activities, further explore their value in ideological and political education, and to transform the collective spirit developed through faculty and student participation into a driving force for CUEB’s high-quality development. The ceremony was presided over by Ouyang Qin, Deputy Party Secretary of CUEB. In his speech, President Wu, on behalf of the university, highly praised all the faculty members, staff, and students who participated in the service activities. Second, he emphasized the need to adopt innovative methods and approaches that resonate with young people, making the education more engaging and impactful. Third, he urged everyone to internalize the spirit of this ceremony and put the spirit into practice, making the education practical and fruitful.

President Wu emphasized that this ideological and political education has brought not only a deep sense of inspiration and honor, but more importantly, a strong spiritual driving force for advancing CUEB’s high-quality development. At present, CUEB is at a crucial stage of deepening reform, enhancing its academic excellence, and striving toward the goal of advancing within the Double First-Class Initiative (First-Class University and First-Class Discipline). He called on the university community to channel the noble ideals, strong discipline, and spirit of collaboration demonstrated during the Commemoration into fulfilling CUEB’s fundamental task of cultivating virtues and promoting high-quality development. He also urged all faculty and staff to apply the pursuit of excellence to every aspect of teaching, research, administration, and service. We need to encourage innovation, embrace breakthroughs, and work together to continuously enhance CUEB’s core competitiveness and overall educational strength, so as to usher in a brighter future for CUEB.
