On December 6, CUEB Education Foundation held a Donation Ceremony for “Chung Rui Education Foundation” in Conference Room No.7 on the fifth floor of Bona Building. Yuan Yulan, founder of Beijing Chung Rui Foundation, and He Yuanquan, an Accounting major alumnus of Grade 1995 and Chairman of Chung Rui Tax Group, attended the ceremony. Wang Wenju, Party Secretary of CUEB and Chairman of CUEB Education Foundation, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Professor Fu Lei, former Dean of the School of Accounting, leaders of the School of Accounting, the School of Public Finance and Taxation, the Asset Rating Research Institute, and teachers and students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Xu Yanhong, Vice Director of Office of Cooperation Affairs and Secretary General of CUEB Education Foundation.

Wang Wenju extended a warm welcome to He Yuanquan and his team and thanked Chung Rui Foundation for donating money to set up the “Chung Rui Education Foundation”. He fully affirmed the philosophy of Chung Rui Tax Group, which is to “Keep independent, fair, professional and faithful”, and expressed his sincere congratulations to the two alumni: He Peigang, founder of Chung Rui Tax Group, and He Yuanquan on their achievements. Wang introduced CUEB’s development and achievements considering discipline construction, personnel training, research, and cooperation affairs. He required the school to contact and serve the alumni and further promote the integration of industry, education, and science to solve the problems facing the enterprise.

He Yuanquan delivered a speech. In the beginning, he recalled the good times in school and expressed his and his father’s gratitude to CUEB. Then he introduced the history and development of Chung Rui CPAs LLP, Beijing Chung Rui Foundation and Chung Rui Tax Group. He was proud of the achievements of CUEB and said it’s an honor to make contributions. In the future, he will continue to support the development of CUEB.

A signing ceremony was held. Wang Wenju, on behalf of CUEB Education Foundation, and He Yuanquan, on behalf of Beijing Chung Rui Foundation, signed the donation agreement. Wang Wenju presented a souvenir to Yuan Yulan and presented a certificate to He Yuanquan.

Yu Peng, Deputy Party Secretary and Dean of the School of Accounting and Chief Supervisor of CUEB Education Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the two alumni, who always have great concerns about the development of CUEB. Wang Jingda, Dean of the Asset Rating Research Institute and professor of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, introduced the purpose of the “Chung Rui Education Foundation” and promised to use the donation reasonably and transparently. Fu Lei said that He Yuanquan impressed him when He was an undergraduate and that the two generations stayed true to the founding mission, innovated boldly, and forged ahead, which could be role models for all CUEB people. Ma Libin, a student representative, said that he would focus more on his studies, and forge ahead in research and practice to live up to the donor’s support and expectations.

After the ceremony, the School of Accounting held the Appointment Ceremony of Graduate Student Practice Advisor, and appointed He Yuanquan as the Graduate Student Practice Advisor of the School of Accounting. Then, he made a report entitled “Maintaining independence, fairness, professionalism and faithfulness for steady and sustained progress”.
