On June 7th, the Appointment Ceremony of the prestigious economist Yang Ruilong was held in No. 7 Meeting Room on the fifth floor of Bona Building. Feng Pei, Party Secretary of CUEB, Fu Zhifeng, President of CUEB, Ding Lihong and Wang Chuansheng, Vice Presidents of CUEB, Tang Xing’an, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and Xing Qi, Member of the CPC Committee of CUEB, attended the ceremony. Yang Kaizhong, Vice President of CUEB, presided over the appointment ceremony.

At the appointment ceremony, Feng Pei read out “The Decision of CUEB on Establishing the Leading Group for Discipline Construction of Economics”. Fu Zhifeng was appointed as the group leader, Professor Yang Ruilong was hired as the deputy leader. The team members consisted of directors of the Post Graduate School and Division of Teaching Affairs, Deans of schools related to Applied Economics and Theoretical Economics, and renowned professors, aiming to promote discipline building of Economics.

On behalf of the university, Fu Zhifeng presented a letter of appointment as CUEB Distinguished Professor to Yang Ruilong.

Yang Ruilong said that it was a pleasure to join the big family of CUEB, and he also appreciated the trust of leaders of the university. In the future, he will take initiative to contribute to the discipline construction and academic cooperation of the university.

The directors of the Division of Teaching Affairs, Division of Academic Research and Graduate School, leaders of the College of Urban Economics and Public Administration, School of Economics, School of Labor Economics, School of Public Finance and Taxation and the School of Finance, attended the ceremony.
