CUEB and Two Beijing Municipal Universities Form Co-development Partnership with RUC
On June 12th, the co-development pairing conference between three Beijing municipal universities, CUEB included, and Renmin University of China (RUC) was held at RUC. Wang Liming, Executive Vice President of RUC, Fu Zhifeng, President of CUEB, Li Xuewei, President of Beijing Union University and Luo Xueke, President of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, attended the conference.
Wang Liming firstly introduced the basic situation of discipline ranking of RUC. CUEB had a solid foundation for cooperation with RUC. The two sides has established a platform for communication and look forward to further cooperation in other disciplines.
Fu Zhifeng pointed out that CUEB hoped to cooperate with RUC in applied economics, business administration and statistics, striving to improve the discipline development to a new level. Fu hoped to integrate and optimize the teaching curriculum of CUEB through this co-development platform. CUEB hoped to appoint professors from RUC to coach young teachers of CUEB and build research groups to support the growth of young teachers.
Lang Lihua, Dean of the School of Economics, made a keynote speech as the representative of cooperation school. She pointed out that the School would ensure the implementation of relevant requirements of cooperation. By establishing a good cooperation mechanism, CUEB would achieve an all-round cooperation with RUC, so as to promote the development of disciplines.
RUC attached great importance to the cooperation. Jin Nuo, Party Secretary of RUC, met with presidents of the three universities after the conference. Xing Qi, member of the Party Standing Committee of CUEB, Zhou Mingsheng, Dean of Postgraduate School of CUEB, Gu Fenling, Dean of the School of Accounting, Feng Xiliang, Dean of the School of Labor Economics, Yao Dongxu, Dean of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, Yin Zhichao, Dean of the School of Finance, Zhang Baoxue, Dean of the School of Statistics, Fan Hejun, Deputy Dean of the College of Business Administration, etc., attended the conference.
