Heads of Huawei Beijing Company Visit CUEB

On the morning of March 11, the Heads of Huawei Beijing Company visited CUEB to help with the implementation of the strategic cooperation between the two sides. Wu Weixing, CUEB Deputy Party Secretary and President, and Yin Zhichao, member of the Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee and Vice President, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Wu Weixing expressed gratitude to Huawei for its strong support. He noted that a series of pragmatic and efficient collaborationslast year has produced remarkable outcomes. He expected the two sides to strengthen cooperation in such areas as innovative personnel training, cooperative scientific research, joint laboratory construction, smart campus construction, and others.

Based on his job responsibilities, Yin put forward specific cooperation suggestions, such as deepening education with industry and science, optimizingfinancial technology specialized development, and promoting the transition of scientific research results.


Zhang Xiaoyu, General Manager of Huawei’s Beijing Enterprise Business Center, reviewed the previous cooperation and expressed a desire to deepen strategic cooperation and build a new era of smart campus. She stated that CUEB is an important strategic partner for Huawei. In the future, Huawei will increase its investment in manpower and technology to provide the most up-to-date cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and other course service, as well as expert resources. They will continuously innovate cooperation methods to effectively support CUEB’s high-quality development.


Miao Di, Huawei’s General Manager of Fengtai District in Beijing, Wang Sheng, Industry Representative of the Central District in Beijing, and Zou Dongqi, Education Industry Solution Expert of Beijing Enterprise Business, each briefly introduced and exchanged information about their work areas.


Attendees included relative directors from the Office of Party and Government Affairs, Office of Research, Office of Cooperation Affairs, School of Management and Engineering, and School of Finance.
