On February 26, the familiar bell rang again, ushering in the start of the new semester. Wang Wenju, Secretary of the Party Committee of CUEB, Wu Weixing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, Li Xiaomu, Vice President, and Yao Linxiu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, led the team to inspect the preparation work for the new semester and offered guidance to ensure a smooth and orderly start in the spring semester of 2024.

At 7:50 a.m.,the school leadership team inspected the Boxue Building and Shensi Building, and emphasized that at the beginning of the new semester, it was necessary to fully ensure the stability of teaching order and effectively promote undergraduate teaching; further strengthen the construction of teaching and learning styles, and continuously improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching; carefully plan and promote evaluation and assessment in a solid and orderly manner. The leaders fully affirmed the construction of smart classrooms in just a few months, emphasizing that follow-up construction work should be conducted progressively. Besides, teachers should make good use of smart teaching facilities to comprehensively promote the higher-quality development of undergraduate education.

At 13:20 p.m., Li Xiaomu and his team inspected the Boxue Building, Shensi Building and library. During the inspection, Li stressed the importance of further understanding the basic requirements of undergraduate education evaluation, and predicting possible situations in the evaluation process based on previously discovered problems, so as to be fully prepared to respond and take precautions.

Liu Qiang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office and Director of the Education Quality Assessment Center, Li Hua, Director of the Office of Logistics Services, Xiong Qian, Sun Liang, and Meng Yifang, Deputy Directors of the Academic Affairs Office, Fan Yanying, Deputy Director of the Education Quality Evaluation Agency, and relevant staff of the Academic Affairs Office joined in the inspection.

At the very beginning of the new semester, CUEBers not only absorbed knowledge in the classroom, but also studied diligently in the library and study rooms. They sat in the quiet library, pen in hand, writing a new chapter for the upcoming semester.

In the canteen, the aroma of food filled the air, as students gatheredin groups to savor the delicious meals.
