CUEB Holds 2017 China Distribution 30 Member Forum Annual Meeting
On December 16th, 2017 China Distribution 30 Member Forum(G30) Annual Meeting, co-organized by CUEB China Academy of Circulation and Domestic Trade Information Center of China International Electronic Commerce Center(CIECC), kicked off in CUEB. The theme of the annual meeting is Reviewing 2017 and Looking into 2018—Spearhead Development in Chinese Circulation Industry by the 19th CPCNational Congress Spirit. Huang Hai, Chairman of G30, Former Party Member of Party Leadership Group and Minister’s Assistant with the Ministry of Commerce, and Prof. Ma Longlong with Renmin University of China, also Vice Chairman of G30, attended the forum.
Wang Deli, General Secretary of G30, delivered the 2017 annual workreport titled “Join Hands for Innovation”. He pointed out that in the past year, the G30 held a series of brand activities such as the 2017 Belt and Road New Commerce Forum in Shanghai, the 2017 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Physical Retail Innovation Transformation Forum and other academic events such as the “On Circulation” thematic salon.Through these events, G30 leverages its academic advantages,advances the integration of theory and practice, and digs into key issues to spur on innovation and development in the circulation industry.
At the same time, G30 will continue to publishObservation on Circulation, an internal journal, and organize China’s Circulation bimonthly forum to set up a platform for governments and experts to communicate. They releasedReport onCityCirculation Competitiveness from 2016 to 2017 and honored social responsibilities.Moreover, aplan was devised to conduct five large-scale writing events such as “Commenting on New Retails” and “Interpretation of the 19th CPC National Congress Report” to strengthen cooperation with media and consolidate itsleading position in circulation industry. In 2018, G30 will continue tobuild up its brands and serve experts, through serving government decision-making, strengthening external cooperation, consolidating media publicity, promoting interactive exchanges and continuing academic research.
At the forum, experts present expressed their opinions on development trends, main tasks and heated issues last year.
Zhu Heliang, Deputy Director of CUEB Division of Academic Research, pointed out that we should attach importance to the issue of circulation in the new era and vigorously promote the construction of “a powerful country in circulation” by promoting the industry’s informatization, standardization, intensification, standardization, branding, internationalization and public welfarecontribution. Zhu also believed that the emerging industriesarethe new enginesfor economic development while circulation will add steam to the development of emerging industries. We should work to tap into new momentum to promote development and make circulation a drive for economy.
Besides, a number of young G30 experts offered their ideas and suggestions based on their fields of study.
Founded in 2009, G30 has gone through 8 years. Since its establishment, G30 has spared no efforts in China's circulation modernization under the principles of promoting academic innovation, exploring the frontier issues and rejuvenating and developing China's circulation industry. G30 annual meeting has become a platform forChina’s circulation academia. It attracts experts of all ages to speak freely and seek harmony without uniformity, thus making great achievements.
