On the afternoon of September 4th, Beijing municipal party committee held the appointment ceremony to issue appointment letters to the employed advisers and experts. CUEB Prof. Yu Zhong and alumnus Zhang Zheng were appointed as the members of legal expert pool of Beijing municipal party committee. Cai Qi, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Party Committee, encouraged the appointees to give full play to their professional advantages and act as a legal "think tank" to provide high-quality and efficient legal services for the law-based governance, decision-making and practice of the municipal party committee. The municipal leaders Zhang Yankun, Wei Xiaodong, Cui Shuqiang attended the appointment ceremony.

Currently, Yu Zhong is the member of the CUEB Party Standing Committee, directoer of the Organization Division, and professor of the School of Law. Zhang Wei is the alumnus of the economic law major of the class of 1990. Now he is a senior partner of Gaopeng & Partners.
