On March 12th, a 4-member delegation led by Zhao Xiling, Director of the Office of Cooperation Affairs, Secretary-General of CUEB Alumni Association and Education Foundation, arrived at Baoding University (BDU), Hebei province. The delegation met with Zhang Liping and Dou Wenliang, the Dean and Vice Dean of the School of Museology,. The two sides discussed the project of helping Fuping county, Hebei province, out of poverty through education and reached a common ground. Following earlier discussions, the two sides carried on in-depth discussions on the construction of campus culture, the promotion of teacher quality, , and the development of courses on arts in Shijiazhai School, Fuping county. In the 4 years ahead, CUEB and BDU will pull together and give full play to both of our strengths in a bid to bring the quality of primary education in Fuping to a higher level and make it more sustainable.  

In the afternoon, the two sides discussed the development of music and drawing courses in Shijiazhai School in this new semester. In addition, a training was held to inform the selected volunteer teachers of these courses, including Li Meng, Wu Yuanchao, Wang Rui, and other college students of the significance and announcements of this project. 

Zhao Yuntian, Xu Shiduo, from the CUEB Office of Cooperation Affairs, and Song Yukun from the BDU School of Museology, also attended the meeting.
