Delegation from UCLA Visits School of Labor Economics
On March 12th, Patrick Colabucci, Director of International Institute of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Zhao Ning, Manager of Study Abroad Foundation (SAF) in China and Qin Zheng, Manager of SAF in Beijing paid a visit to the School of Labor Economics to have a discussion on summer exchange programs.
Feng Xiliang, President of SLE, Fan Wei, Deputy President of SLE and Wei Huaying, head of the program held a conference with representatives from UCLA.
With a brief introduction about CUEB, the history of SLE, the development of its students and international exchange among students in recent years, President Feng expressed warm welcome to these visitors and expected bilateral cooperation prospects.
Next, Patrick Colabucci depicted a picture of the growth of UCLA, its social standing, reputation and discipline advantages in a number of fields such as human resource management, labor relations and labor economics. He also hoped that, on the basis of current cooperation, both sides could further develop this relation and expand communication scope in a bid to achieve mutual progress.
In addition, Zhao made an introduction to the situation of SAF, its academic traditions, characteristics and major programs in popularization. He looked forward to carrying out a more diversified, in-depth, distinctive cooperation so that more students intending to study abroad can find much better and more preferable opportunities.
In the meeting, specific details about the summer programs were also further discussed, improved and reassured.
