CUEB Party Members Visit Fragrant Hills Revolutionary Memorial Sites

On September 19th, Teacher Office of CUEB Party Committee organized 100 CPC members, including teachers and students, to visit the Fragrant Hills Revolutionary Memorial Sites under the call of education campaign on the theme of “Stay true to our founding mission”. President Fu Zhifeng joined the tour.

During the tour, representatives first visited the Fragrant Hills Revolutionary Memorial Museum. They visited an exhibition of the history of the CPC Central Committee, watching over 800 pictures, maps, reports and over 1200 exhibits including documents and archives, reliving the great journey of the foundation of new China.

After that, the teachers and students visited the revolutionary memorial sites such as Shuangqing Villa and Laiqing Pavillion, from where Mao Zedong as well as the Central Committee of CPC directed the war “Crossing the Yangtze River”, which led to the collapse of the Kuomintang regime. It was the headquarters from where the Party led the people to the successful conclusion of the war of Liberation, something of great significance in the history of the People’s Republic of China.

 

After the visit, students and teachers expressed their determination to gather closely around the CPC Central Committee with President Xi as its core. They also realized that it is important to remain true to our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, rise to challenges and create new progress, while holding high the banner of socialism with Chinese Characteristics and achieve the “Two Centenary Goals” with confidence, thus realizing the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation!
