On November 16th, the Final Competition of the Applied Decision of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Management Accounting for undergraduates in Beijing was held in the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). This competition, sponsored by Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and organized by the Central University of Finance and Economics, was open to all undergraduates in general institutes of higher education in Beijing area. The representative team of CUEB has won the first prize.

In recent years, ERP competition has grown rapidly and received social recognition. This competition has played a unique role in cultivating students’ overall conception, strategic thinking, innovation and hands-on abilities and in promoting the intra-school exchanges and the transformation of teaching and research achievements. The Opening Ceremony was held in Academy Hall in CUFE, with teachers and students from 27 universities being present.

The representative team of CUEB, united together to calmly deal with the various situations in the competition. In the first round of the simulation operation, CUEB team suffered a fiasco and only ranked the ninth place in the group. This team, however, adjusted its tactics and reversed the situation step by step. In the next three rounds, CUEB team went up steadily, rising to the fifth place in the 2nd round, to the second in the 3rd round and successfully to the first in the 4th round. Therefore, it won the chance to show its management achievements.

In the final competition, our team got well-prepared, from the selection of layouts to brainstorming and speech-writing. The outstanding performance has won the recognition of all the judges. In the end, the team of Beijing Union University won the grand prize; the team of CUEB and Beijing University of Chemical Technology won the first prize; the team of CUFE, Beijing Technology and Business University, and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications won the second prize; the team of Central University, China University of Geosciences, Beijing, Beijing Wuzi University, Beijing International Studies University and Beijing Information Science and Technology University won the third prize.
