On November 17th, the final game of the 9th Campus Finance and Accounting Competition of “China Accounting Network School Cup” was held in CUEB. This competition lasted nearly one year and a total of 23 universities’ teams from China advanced into the final. CUEB team won the grand prize with the highest total score. 

The 9th National Campus Finance and Accounting Competition of “China Accounting Network School Cup” was guided by the Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association, organized by China Distance Education Holdings Ltd. (CDEL) and co-sponsored by the participating universities. At the final, Zhang Guocai, Secretary General of the Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association, Lu Ninggui, Vice President of CDEL and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of China Accounting Network School, and Xu Jiangbo, Party Secretary of the School of Accounting, delivered speeches.

Zhang Guocai said that the competition aims to achieve school-enterprise cooperation and work-study combination, give students more practical opportunities, and enhance their capabilities in the finance and accounting. Through this competition, students from the Schools of Accounting can deepen their accounting knowledge and gain more employment opportunities.

Lu Ninggui said that CDEL will shoulder the responsibility of educators, be committed to the development of distance education, and actively provide comprehensive support for campus activities. Through sponsoring various campus activities, quiz shows and theme lectures, CDEL helps students improve interest in learning, consolidate knowledge and skills, and enhance employment competitiveness. CDEL provides students with cross-regional and inter-school communication platforms to train more talents for the society.

Xu Jiangbo said that as finance and accounting staff in the future, our students should not only focus on the finance and accounting study, but also on the improvement of moral and professional qualities. In today's final, students can fully demonstrate their strength in each round of competition, learn from each other, and fully communicate to become friends. As a popular competition for domestic finance and accounting students, the Campus Finance and Accounting Competition of “China Accounting Network School Cup” has a long history. After various rounds of selection, the contestants make a final matchup in CUEB. 

Guo Jianhua, Yang Jun, Hou Yongbin and Da Jiang, the famous teachers of China Accounting Network School, served as the judges of the competition and evaluated the performance for these students.

This competition was divided into three rounds: firstly, two teams directly confronted each other with intense one-on-one question-answering; secondly, contestants showed versatile performances with the integration of accounting knowledge into the fun-filled melodrama; thirdly, contestants would watch the melodrama and pick the mistake.

After three fierce rounds, CUEB team won the grand prize with the outstanding performance of all members; three teams of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, Wuhan Textile University and Qingdao Binhai University won the first prize; three teams, including Jilin University of Finance and Economics, Harbin University of Commerce and Guangdong University of Finance and Economics won the second prize; 13 teams including Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University and Huazhong Agricultural University and other universities won the third prize.

The National Campus Finance and Accounting Competition of “China Accounting Network School Cup” is a national large-scale inter-school competition. It has been successfully held for 9 times. The competition relies on the strong brand of CDEL and China Accounting Network School, covering thousands of colleges and universities across the country and more than one million students, and winning highly praise among these universities.

After the award ceremony, the guests will light up the crystal ball that symbolizes the full launch of the 10th competition.
