Vice-President Wang Chuansheng Leads CUEB Delegation to Visit University of Rome Tor Vergata and University of Ferrara
From December 1st to 5th, Vice-President Wang Chuansheng led a delegation to visit University of Rome Tor Vergata and University of Ferrara, and further promoted the cooperation in the areas of international and innovative talent training, academic exchanges and joint scientific research between CUEB and the two universities.
From December 2nd to 3rd, the delegation visited University of Rome Tor Vergata. Prof. Orazio Schillaci, Rector of University of Rome Tor Vergata and Damiano Pinnacchio, Director of the International Office of University of Rome Tor Vergata, met with CUEB delegation members. On behalf of CUEB, Wang Chuansheng renewed the cooperation framework agreement with Prof. Orazio Schillaci.
CUEB delegation members held talks with Prof. Gianluca Cubbada, Dean of the School of Economics of University of Rome Tor Vergata and Prof. Luca Gnan, Director of the Bachelor in Business Administration and Economics. The two sides exchanged opinions on the preparatory contract for dual undergraduate degree program regarding the number of exchange students, teacher preparation, credit transfer system, mutual tuition exemption, and accommodation provision. Finally, the specific terms of the contract were concluded. In addition, the two sides also reached consensus on a dual doctorate degree program and joint research in family businesses.
On December 4th, CUEB delegation members visited University of Ferrara. Prof. Marco Greggi, Dean of the Department of Law of University of Ferrara and Prof. Lauretta Rubini, Researcher at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Ferrara, welcomed delegation members. The two sides have fully exchanged views on the major in law and management cooperation. Wang Chuansheng gave a general introduction to CUEB. Liu Xuexin, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Zhang Shijun, Dean of the School of Law, introduced the talent training and scientific research of each school respectively. Both Prof. Marco Greggi and Prof. Lauretta Rubini have expressed strong cooperation willingness, hoping to sign the cooperation framework agreement between the two universities. At the same time, the Department of Law of the University of Ferrara will work with the School of Law of CUEB to prepare for the China-Italy Tax Law Forum in 2020. The Department of Economics and Management of the University of Ferrara and the College of Business Administration of CUEB will begin negotiations on a dual master's degree program.
This visit realized the innovation of the cooperation model with high-level universities in Italy, and opened up new channels for the “Belt and Road” international talent training, teacher preparation, and international scientific research cooperation. CUEB will continue to give full play to the advantages and characteristics of the discipline, find its own positioning, and further improve the quality of personnel training and scientific research capabilities through in-depth cooperation with foreign high-level universities.
