In order to fully implement the Party’s educational guideline spirits to revitalize the undergraduate education and improve the quality of talents training, CUEB intensified top-level design and implemented diversified measures in a comprehensive way; Academic Affairs Office organized plenty of researches in a systemic way; all schools of CUEB actively prepared and applied for the first-class disciplines according to the requirements of Notice on the Implementation of Double 10 Thousand Plan for the Undergraduate Disciplines Construction by the General Office of the Ministry of Education. Finally, 8 disciplines including Economics were approved to be first-class undergraduate disciplines of national level and 3 disciplines including Law were approved to be first-class undergraduate disciplines in Beijing.

In the selection of the key first-class disciplines in Beijing, 2 disciplines included Accounting were approved in 2017. In 2019, another 2 disciplines were approved including Economics, thus making CUEB bestowed with 4 first-class disciplines in Beijing.
