On September 22^th, the expert review panel in ESG Institute (Environmental, Social and Governance Institute) conducted the first expert review meeting of scientific research projects, which reviewed nine projects submitted by the five research centers under the ESG. Members of the expert panel are Shen Jianjun, former Party Secretary of CUEB; Zhou Ning, General Manager of Infotech Ventures Co.,Ltd.; Yao Dongxu, Director of Office of Research in CUEB; Qian Longhai, chairman of the China ESG Institute, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the First Capital Securities Co.,Ltd.; Fu Xuedong, former Chairman of CPIC Fund Management Co. , Ltd. , Liu Xuexin, Executive Director of ESG Institute in China and Dean of College of Business Administration in CUEB, attended the meeting. Shen Jianjun, head of the Expert Review Panel, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, each person in charge of the center reported on the topic of pre-research foundation, research plan, staffing and expected results in detail. The experts at the meeting put forward suggestions from improving the strategic layout, optimizing the research methods, and promoting the implementation. After discussion by the expert review panel, 9 scientific research projects were approved.

Shen acknowledged the earnest, comprehensive and meticulous work of the researchers in the five research centers. He said that the plan, direction, goal, data collection and other work of the project have completely achieved anticipated goal of institute. The guidance of the experts is helpful to clarify the research ideas and make the overall research planning of ESG more forward-looking, targeted and operable.
