Lin Feihu is a student of International Human Resources Management of Grade 2018, the School of Labor Economics, CUEB. He is a sunshine boy with lovely smiles, sweet as the apple of his hometown, Akesu Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. On December 9^th, he donated hematopoietic stem cells at Medical Center of Air Force General Hospital, PLA, being the 5^th hematopoietic stem cell donor of CUEB, the 414^th in Beijing and the 10570^th in China. He demonstrates the new era spirit of “Taking Responsibility and Striving for Future” with practical action.

For his enthusiasm and optimism, he is called “Brother Hu”. Lin Feihu, who is keen on public welfare, has participated in voluntary blood donation for 4 times in a row. On October 27^th, 2018, he registered in China Marrow Donor Program (CMDP), left a blood sample for HLA typing test and volunteered to donate hematopoietic stem cells to save patients with leukemia who need Hematopoietic Stem Cell Translation (HSCT). On March 13^th, 2020, according to the search of CMDP, the HLA preliminary typing was marched with a patient, and the high-resolution typing was matched on October 10^th. It is lucky for the patient to find hematopoietic stem cells with high-degree of similarity and it is definitely a kind of happiness for Lin Feihu, who is willing to help others with his kindness.

Lin Feihu hoped to donate his hematopoietic stem cells for the moment he registered as a volunteer. When Feihu received a call from the Donation Center of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch, he felt so happy and satisfied for this coincidence that he was full of expectation since he came back school from Xinjiang Province. Feihu’s father and mother, police at the Akesu Prefecture, gave Feihu huge support and encouragement when they knew Feihu decided to donate his hematopoietic stem cells. For parents, nothing is happier than having a sensible and responsible child who has already grown up.

On the same day, Liang Yongqing, Director of the Donation Center of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch, Li Jin, Secretary of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch, Fengtai District, Sun Qingfu, Vice Party Secretary of School of Labor Economics, Li Weihong, nurse of university hospital & advisor of university Red Cross Society visited Lin Feihu at Air Force General Hospital, PLA and Guang Houyun, monitor and roommate accompanied Feihu for the whole process. Their accompany made the 4-hour collecting time warm and happy.

After collecting hematopoietic stem cells, Lin Feihu said, “Although I don’t know who the patient is, we both are happy. It is lucky for me to donate hematopoietic stem cells, and I will be proud of it for my whole time.”

On December 4^th, Wang Chuansheng, Vice President of CUEB, Wang Minghui, Party Secretary of School of Labor Economics, Sun Qingfu, Vice Party Secretary, Zhang Yanhua, Secretary of the Party Branch of the University Hospital, Tang Le, Class Advisor, all saw off Lin Feihu, who went to Medical Center of Air Force General Hospital, PLA for preparation in advance.
