On December 31st, CUEB held the 2021 Student Art Troupe New Year’s performance to display the achievements of the school’s aesthetic education and to welcome the arrival of the New Year. Affected by COVID-19, this performance was carried out through live streaming. More than a thousand people, including teachers, students, alumni and parents of students watched the performance together.

The orchestral ensemble “Red Detachment of Women” made its debut. The song has a changeable style and vividly demonstrates the perseverance, hardship and tenacity of the revolutionary soldiers.

“Flouring” is an original Uygur dance, which expresses a sense of optimism and vigor through graceful dance and melodious tambourine. 

The lyrics of the chorus “You Raise Me Up” are inspiring, and the tune changes from soothing to bright and cheerful, which is intended to express praise and gratitude to the heroes in the epidemic.

The folk music “Snowy Land” is elegant and romantic, just like everything in the world is silent because of snowflakes, and the melodious national musical instruments are now sounding for the ancient civilization.

Magic “Running Dream” uses superb and dexterous skills to lead the audience into a world full of magic and wonder.

At the end of the performance, the dance “Joyful Prairie Girls” is magnificent and heroic, which fully embodies the open-minded and enthusiastic character of the Mongolian women and push the atmosphere of the whole performance to a climax.

Things change and time flies to bid farewell to the old year, and the drum music is greeted in the new year.
