The students of the Folk Orchestra of the CUEB Art Troupe actively participated in the 11th Student Opera Competition of "National Opera Cup" and won one gold, three silver and three bronze medals. This competition is sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Education Committee, with the theme of "promoting the quintessence of Chinese art, inheriting the national spirit, balancing compulsory education and promoting aesthetic education", and strives to integrate "public welfare, professionalism, participation and artistry" into the national student opera performance competition.

Before the competition, the Art Troupe invited professional instructors to give one-to-one training. Through strict training, seven students stood out with splendor achievements, fully demonstrating the vigorous spirit and the fruitful results of art education of CUEB. Through this competition, students had a much deeper appreciation of the charm of folk music, willing to make greater contributions to the inheritance and promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
