President Fu Zhifeng Attends Summit Forum to Discuss Digital and Intelligent Talent Training in the New Era

On May 29, guided by Steering Committee in Teaching of the Ministry of Education on Business Administration, sponsored by Yonyou Network Co., Ltd and Seentao Technology Co., Ltd, and co-organized by CUEB, the Digital and Intelligent Talent Training Summit Forum was held in Beijing. With the theme of "Shared Responsibility for Digital and Intelligent Talents", more than 1000 people, including university leaders, experts, business and media representatives from all over the country, gathered in Beijing to explore the connotation and path of higher education development, and discuss the mode and method of talent training of new business studies, new liberal arts, new engineering, innovation and entrepreneurship under the school-enterprise cooperation mode. Fu Zhifeng was invited to attend the forum, and delivered a speech together with Huang Kan, Grade-1 Inspector of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Wang Wenjing, Chairman and CEO of Yonyou Network Co., Ltd., and Executive President of Internet+ Development Association of China.

 

Fu Zhifeng noted that CUEB will take the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation as an important way to strengthen specialty construction and talent training. Fu said that, through cooperation with industry-leading companies in talent training and curriculum development, CUEB has further strengthened in-depth integration of information technology and financial specialty education, enhanced the quality of undergraduate education, and improved the effect of digital and intelligent talent training, which is conducive to further implementing the fundamental task of fostering character and civic virtue.

 

 

In the afternoon, Gu Fenling, Dean of the School of Accounting, was invited to participate in the sub-forum of "Strengthening Double 10,000 Plan for Digital and Intelligent Talents", namely, building about 10,000 state-level first-class undergraduate programs and about 10,000 provincial-level first-class undergraduate programs for cultivating digital and intelligent talents. The sub-forum further focused on the construction of first-class undergraduate majors under the background of digital economy. In the sub-forum, Gu Fenling, Li Chungen, Vice President of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Li Fang, Associate Researcher of University of International Business and Economics, Zhang Min, Director of Accounting Department of Renmin Business School and member of Educational Audit Branch of China Audit Society, Wang Qijin, Vice President of Anhui Xinhua University, and Sui Zhaoqiang, Deputy General Manager of New Business Division of Yonyou Network Co., Ltd, delivered keynote speeches respectively. Gu Fenling, in a speech titled "Thinking and Practice on the Construction of First-Class Majors under the Demand for Digital and Intelligent Talents", introduced the development of disciplines and majors of the School of Accounting in CUEB. At present, the School has achieved full coverage of national first-class majors, and grasped this opportunity to further promote the intensive construction of majors. With the increasing demand for digital and intelligent talents, the School has carried out practices of the construction of first-class majors in educational concepts, training objectives, teaching content, teaching staff, resources and platforms of innovation and practice. Gu Fenling stressed that in the background of digit and intelligence, the construction of first-class accounting major should conform to the principle of "staying true to accounting and abiding by rules".

 

 

This forum shared the outstanding experience and achievements of the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, discussed the intensive and innovative development of higher education, and explored the new mode and method of digital and intelligent talent training in the new era.

 

On the afternoon of May 30, more than 200 participants from universities visited the Experimental Center for Economics and Management of CUEB, and highly recognized the construction of the laboratory and experimental teaching in the center. When visiting the smart learning center of new business studies built by the Experimental Center for Economics and Management, Professor Cai Lixin, Director of the Accounting Department of the School of Accounting, introduced the practice and effect of talent training in the smart learning center. Participants all agreed that the construction of the smart learning center provided good platforms and conditions for talent training, and spoke highly of the achievements and investments in hardware and software to adapt to the demands of digital and intelligent talent training.
